About our Experts & Clinicians
Credible medico legal experts with courtroom skills
We work with only the most talented medico legal experts who are recognised to be leading clinicians in their specialism by their profession, peer group and their patients. They are also well respected as expert witnesses by many leading barristers and solicitors whether instructed for the claimant or the defendant.
Our experts work exclusively with us because we share an ethos to deliver excellence. Our recruitment criteria ensures our medico legal experts have excellent communication skills and are recognised for being personable and approachable in their clinical practice. Our expert witness reports receive first-rate feedback for their clarity, structure and content.
Leading experts in their clinical fields
It’s a pre-requisite of working with Medicolegal Partners that our experts have an NHS practice or extensive NHS experience in addition to their private practice. This demonstrates their commitment to their continuing professional development and ensures their knowledge, skills, clinical and medico legal practice remains current.
The complex world of personal injury and clinical negligence is constantly changing – our experts ensure they are up-to-date by attending regular seminars and maintaining active membership with key associations. This is why the expert witness reports they write for you and your clients independently or jointly stand the test of scrutiny and challenge if needed.
Focus on client service
We run a large number of clinics in a variety of different regional locations so we have reduced waiting times for initial review of claimants.
We have an experienced team skilled in all aspects of the administration involved in instructing an expert medical witness. This means that our experts are able to utilise their precious time to focus on giving you and your client their medical and medico legal expert advice and support.
You can pick up the phone and speak to us at any time. We don’t work out of a call centre so you will know our team personally and importantly we will know you, your client and your case.
Pro-active, responsible and flexible
We see ourselves as an extension of your team so if you need to discuss your case, our experts will make themselves available to you. If they identify something they think you need to know, they won’t hesitate to pick up the phone and speak to you. It’s this unique and personal interest in each case that creates the long-standing relationships we build with our clients.
We understand that some solicitors prefer to instruct medico legal experts through an agency and we are very happy to accept instructions in this way. We have good working relationships with a number of well-known and well-respected medico legal agencies across the UK.
